Nike Zoom Flow

This is my Major Project Design for my final year. The Basketball shoe is a concept for a Nike branded shoe.

The idea behind the shoe is that it gives Slashers an advantage over their defender by using Gum Rubber on the sole of the shoe (the red part near the ball of the foot) to have more grip and therefore transferring more of the force that the leg and foot provide to the shoe when the Slasher turns the corner to get past his defender.

The Upper has a mesh to provide breathability and the midsole has Zoom Air for cushioning while running and landing and a carbon fibre plate for arch support.

Shoe Design Feedback

Hi guys,
My final project is designing and manufacturing a basketball shoe. I was hoping you guys could answer my questionnaire (follow the links below) and help me out!

I already ran a general questionnaire about basketball players now i've come up with some designs of the sole of the basketball shoe. If you guys could please do my questionnaire below it would be of great help further info is followed on from the links, the reason for multiple links is because of a limit on the amounts of questions asked per questionnaire it's actually quite short as there's only 5 questions per part:
Part1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5

The intent of the shoe is to help "slashers" have more acceleration during their cutting movements to the basket or when they are getting around players. The reason there's always a graphic going up the side of the shoe is to help the user have his eyes drawn to the sole of the shoe so that he realises that it does something different compared to other shoes.

My New Watch

This watch is pretty crazy. It's see through where you'd expect to see the minutes and hours and displays the minutes on a clear screen and the hours are displayed by putting the minutes on the corresponding hours. Check the source for more info: LikeCool Watch. It's designed by Iskender Asanaliev. I don't know if it is actually being produced but if it were to be and a reasonable price tag I would definitely get it!
